Vegan for Lent—Day 4

Vegan for Lent—Day 4

I woke up at around 5 AM with a terrible headache. I did drink a lot the night before, but this wasn’t a hangover headache. It was focused behind my eyes and I was also kind of dizzy.

I was certain it was an aneurysm but, falling in an out of sleep, I decided dying in bed solved all of my problems at once and was the best way one could go really.

I didn’t die though. I woke up at around 9AM. So I still have problems.

The headache was still there, slightly better, but still worrisome. Maybe it was the rum. I rarely drink rum—especially rum infused with banana.

I had some Pedialyte and a handful of raw cashews. Actually, I had the raw cashews first.

Later, I had oatmeal with honey, raw pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate chips. Then I took some supplements: vitamins A, E, D3+K2, and zinc.

By noon, the headache was gone.

I snacked on the occasional handful of raw cashews and raw pumpkin seeds with dark chocolate chips, and drank OJ and water throughout the day.

For dinner, I had Cuban Avocado Salad with Onions and bruschetta on Schär gluten-free baguette which is really well done gluten-free bread.

I stuck to my drinking restrictions: No day-drinking and 3 glasses of wine.

I did stay up, later than I was supposed to, watching MESSAGE TO THE KING, which was alright, but there were a few major story holes and unmotivated character actions. I went to bed around 2 AM.
